Alex and Arian replaced my old heat pump with a new system in less than two hours while the wind speed was 70km/h and they didn’t complain. They took all the rubbish. The job was completed with a neat and clean finish. They were very professional and well mannered and I was asked how I preferred the wiring to be, they even drained the old system’s water outside the property. they didn’t mess up my property they used the old screw holes and couldn’t tell that the system was replaced that’s how good the final result was. I am very happy and will use them again.

Do I need an electrician to install a rangehood?
- Yes. Rangehoods require a fixed electrical connection or powerpoint, and often sit close to cooking surfaces. A licensed electrician is needed to install or modify wiring and make sure the unit is safely connected.
Can my rangehood be ducted outside instead of just recirculating?
- Where there is access through a wall, ceiling or roof we can usually duct to the outside. During the quote we will check roof space, wall construction and any existing ducting to see what is possible and explain your options.
How high should my rangehood be above the cooktop?

The required height depends on the cooktop type and the manufacturer instructions, but gas usually needs more clearance than electric or induction. We install the rangehood in line with the appliance and rangehood specifications so it is both safe and effective.
Can you replace my old rangehood with a different size unit?
- Yes, although size changes may leave gaps or require cabinet adjustments. We will measure your existing opening and the new unit, then explain any visible gaps or trim work needed so you can decide how you want to proceed.
What happens during a rangehood installation?
- We isolate power, remove the old unit if required, check mounting points, cabinet space and any existing ducting, then install and secure the new rangehood. We connect power, set up ducting or filters, test lights and fan speeds and clean up the work area before we leave.
